
Born in 1971 in Sondershausen/Thuringia, lives with her family in Faulensee/Canton Bern. After training as an advertising designer and poster painter, she studied business administration at the technical college in Nordhausen/Thuringia. From 1997 to 2000, in addition to studying conservation/restoration, she did internships with Oskar Emmenegger, Zizers/GR and the Brandenburg State Office for Monument Preservation, Berlin/Wünsdorf. In 2000, she completed her studies in restoration and conservation, studying the restoration of wall paintings, architectural surfaces and stone objects at the University of Applied Sciences and Art in Hildesheim/Lower Saxony. 2005 - 2007, she completed her doctorate at the University of Bamberg, majoring in restoration sciences, minoring in cultural informatics and art history. 2000 - 2005, she worked as a scientific project manager at ProDenkmal GmbH in Bamberg/Bavaria. She then became the owner of the office for restoration planning in Bamberg and Munich. 2012 Marriage and move to Switzerland where a son was born in 2013. 2014 - 2016 Research assistant at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Department of Conservation and Restoration. Subsequent internship and freelance work at the Cantonal Monument Preservation Office in Bern. 2018 - 2022 Employment as a building researcher at the Cantonal Monument Preservation Office in Bern. Self-employed in the field of building research and restoration planning. 2022 Founding of the company for - building research - restoration planning - visualization. 2023 Guest lecturer at the HKB - Bern University of the Arts, Topic BDKTA10.01 "Plaster description and definition". Membership in the AKD and examination expert for craftsmanship in monument preservation .
